Thanks for coming in to see our farm unit. It was great to see everyone and show off all of our hard work. Now you can see why you haven't seen too much work come home in the Thursday envelopes. All of our class time had been going into our writing and our buying land and animals. Our next unit will be all about frogs, toads, and insects. It should be a lot of fun too!

Riley
I am still experimenting for my master's class. My daughter will be moving to Sweden next month, so I thought I would try to make her a short video. The girl singing is my best friend's daughter, Brittany. She came into school last year to help out! So, I thought I would share it with everyone. I hope you enjoy seeing pictures of my daughter and her dog Riley. There are a few bugs I need to work out. The song lasts way longer than the movie for one. I wish I could put one of you all but we are not suppose to put your picture up for public use.

Thunderstorms
Have you ever been in a thunderstorm? If so,
could you tell me a little bit about it. I was in a fantastic storm three years ago in Mexico. It happened to be July the 4th. I thought it was a better show than any fireworks show I had ever seen. I was looking out over the water when two thunderheads were having what seemed to be a competition. One cloud would clap and send off bolts of lightening and then the other one would do the same. It went on for over a half an hour. The rain didn't come our way for another half an hour. How far away was the storm?

Thunder Cake
Hello,
I have been working on masters class this weekend. I am posting blogs for my class. Feel free to add a comment or if you would like to go ahead and write your own narrative story about a time you have been afraid, about a time you were in a thunderstorm, or a make believe story of when you were with your grandma.
