Do you remember what shape the Washington Monument is? We were also told how many steps to the very top. Which monument or memorial was your favorite one on our trip?
This overview gives you a good idea of what a great time we had on our trip back east. From the San Jose Airport to Washington Dulles Airport, to hopping on our great bus with Odesta behind the wheel, we all had a great experience.
What song did the soldier play on his horn during the ceremony? Do you remember how many steps the guard took and how many seconds he waited between actions?
Penguins, Please post a comment and let us know your favorite spots on our tour. We want to hear what you liked and why! Also, keep checking the website because we will continue to update the photo gallery. We got so many GREAT shots from our trip that it will take a few days to get them all online. Thanks again for a fun week.
I was born and raised in California. I have lived in the bay area for all but six years of my life. I have a great son who is now almost 33 and has been married for 5 and a half years. We love to golf and boat. His wife, Jana, has been coming in to help out around Little Blue and I am thankful for the help and the chance to see her more often. My beautiful daughter Stacey is 28 and she moved to Sweden last April with her cute dog, Riley (my granddog). I get to Skype her every Sunday and I do miss them very much. We used to ski and go to the movies together. Now we just talk about everything.
