Idioms

I am having so much fun studying apples with you so far. They are delicious, and healthy for you. Do you know that apple appears in many sayings? Do you know any sayings or idioms about apples? Ask your mom, dad, grandparents, or neighbors. Let's see how many sayings can we collect! Here is a useful website that may help you get started.

Remember, don't write the same thing that another student has written! Can't wait to read your responses!

Dear Ms. Smithwick,

I have fun learning apples too. I know the parts of apple are skin, stem, leaf, core, flesh and seed.

And here is one saying about apple I just learned:

Apple of your eye

meaning something or someone special to you.

Hi Mrs Smithwick,
The idiom I like about apples is "to be in apple pie order"
it means to be very tidy and organized.Just like you need to be
for making an apple pie.
