PENGUINS!

We are taking a trip to Antarctica (At least we will be pretending to anyway)! Our passports are made and we're making a list of things we should bring. Try going to a few websites and learn more about where they live, what they eat, and what their enemies look like.
This is a fun unit and we weigh and measure things along the way. We were talking about the stars and the southern hemisphere today. It would be great to go online and get some more information about why penguins see different stars than we do.

The Adelie penguins build nests by scooping outareas in the ground and then line them with stones. The stones keep the eggs. dri and warm.

Hi Mrs.Smithwick,

I learned that penguins are meat eaters what they eat is:fish and krill.Their enemies are seals, scubas,
and killer whales.

Penguins live in the southern hemisphere and we live n the north. They see constellations from down and we see them from up. So they are upside down to them.

thanks,
Siddarth
